New Technologies
We Go the Extra Mile for Our Patients
DIAGNOdent
DIAGNOdent is a breakthrough laser technology that seeks hidden
decay. Xrays and probing with an explorer are limited in detecting
sub surface decay, particularly when the cavity is its early stages.
Fortunately, the new DIAGNOdent allows us to locate hidden decay
before it gets into a major repair. This new technology provides
instant feedback on the health of the tooth and is completely safe
and pain free. Patient friendly, especially for children.

Digital X-rays
Digital X-rays allow us to take instant X-rays with sensors rather
than traditional film. Your X-rays will appear immediately on a
computer monitor and because Digital X-ray system is more sensitive
than dental X-ray film systems, your exposure to X-ray radiation
is cut as much as 90 percent. Expensive film and processing chemicals
that are harmful to the environment are virtually eliminated. Also,
a full computer monitor sized image is not only very diagnostic
but it allows you to see for yourself any problems that may show
up on dental X-rays.

Intra-oral cameras
Intra-oral cameras help you, to see what we see, and help us to
see our work in greater detail so that we can provide you with higher
quality dentistry. Cosmetic imaging can be used to preview before
and after scenarios as well.

Periodontal Laser Treatments
Periodontal Laser Treatments LASER ASISTED PERIODONTAL THERAPY (LAPT)
also known as laser curretage or laser debridement is the most advanced
non-surgical technique in treating periodontal disease today. After
scaling and root- planning procedure is completed, laser light with
a low setting is then used to remove infected gingival tissue inside
pockets (de-epithelialization). Energy from the laser light vaporizes
infected gingival tissue and toxins from harmful bacteria. This
then provides a healthy wound for more efficient healing by achieving
new attachment of gingival fibers. An additional result from this
procedure is pocket depth reduction; LASER BACTERIAL REDUCTION (LBR).
Another benefit in using laser in a periodontal procedure is that
laser energy is also able to kill the majority of sulcus bacteria;
thus, effectively delaying bacterial repopulation within the pocket.
Therefore, LBR may control periodontal pockets from getting worse
when performed with periodontal maintenance treatment.
